New England
Ed joined his father in the business in 1975. He took over as president in 1990 and as CEO since 2010 when Joe Flick was named president. Along with Tim Murphy, Ed covers the New England territory. Ed's hobbies include music, kayaking and biking. He plays clarinet for several community orchestras as well. His wife, Linda, is ESA's CFO and, between the two of them, they have three daughters and five grandchildren.

Joe joined ESA in 1980, right out of the U.S. Coast Guard, where he was honorably discharged as a Second-Class Boatswain Mate. Joe oversees all the ESA territories as well as major accounts. He is a proud father of two sons. Joe's joy in life is spending time with his 3 grandsons, watching them play baseball, soccer and hanging out watching the NY Rangers. He enjoys watching the NY Mets with his wife Gloria.
CFO
Linda Maxwell has been CFO for Eastern States for over 30 years. Before ESA, she was a credit and collections manager for a Western Massachusetts manufacturer. She has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren ages 26 to 9. She is a plant whisperer and has 2 green thumbs.

Marlon joined ESA as the Director of Sales and Operations in 2024. Marlon comes to us with 20+ years of experience in industrial sales management with a focus on the Defense/Medical/EV and Commercial Industrial segments, as well as experience in finance and operations. Marlon lives in Connecticut, is married, and has a daughter who recently completed her 5 years with the Marines as a helicopter mechanic. In the warmer months of the year Marlon is an avid motorcycle riding enthusiast, can be found working on the family's 1931 Model A hotrod and attending car shows with the Model A throughout New England.

Employed by ESA since 1988, John has over 28 years of Sales/Marketing experience with ESA and prior employment. With ESA, he has provided inside sales support, managed the Corporate Customer Service Department and currently handles the State of NJ and Eastern and Southwest Pennsylvania as an Outside Representative. John has extensive experience working with distributors, end users, contractors and engineers that serve the PEI Market.

Tim started with ESA in 2011, and had been working in the petroleum industry for 10 years. Tim is responsible for working with end-users, contractors, engineers and distribution in the New England Territory. He lives in the Western Massachusetts area with his wife and three children.

Suzanne joined ESA in 1999 as the Customer Relations Manager. Her background includes 7 years in marketing for a major construction tools organization. She works from the Palmer, MA office where her duties include industrial quoting and order entry, ESA database management and accounts receivable. Suzanne and her husband have 2 children. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, reading a good book and any chance to get to the beach.

Dave started with ESA as a contractor in 2007 and came on full-time in 2015. His expertise is in electronics and embedded systems design and programming, and he works extensively with the NOV line of above-ground and underground fuel and water storage tanks and Omniview Tank Level Monitoring, while providing mission critical support to all ESA systems. His hobbies include flying, hiking, high-energy physics, AI and guitar. He loves to visit historic sites with his wife and grand-children, whom he spoils whenever possible.

Colin graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. He began his internship with Eastern States Associates in April 2025 and joined the company full-time on June 1, 2026. At ESA, Colin has supported marketing, social media, and product promotion efforts. He has a strong interest in investing and financial markets, and also ran a landscaping company from 2022 to 2026. Outside of work, Colin enjoys golfing, lifting, basketball, technology, and AI.
